Foster carers play an important role in the re-homing and rehabilitation of our dogs and are invaluable to us. Most of  our dogs thrive in a home environment and want nothing more than a family and a sofa to curl up on. Time spent in a foster home is so beneficial; the dog will learn how to be within a family environment, learn lead walking, recall, and just general daily family life.

We are always grateful to have new foster carers and match each dog to the knowledge and experience to each foster home.

Most of our dogs live within the home in Spain with Brian and Diane (which can sometimes get quite crowded) so time spent in a foster home is such a wonderful way for them to prepare for their forever home.

You don’t have to be a dog whisperer with hundred’s of years experience to open up your home for foster. Preferably you have dog/sighthound experience and a lot of love and patience, and if you end up falling in love with your foster you can always adopt him/her yourself.

We take care of all the advertising of the dog and pay for any veterinary bills incurred .

We foster dogs out to families with children and other dogs and even cats. Our dogs are used to living with other hounds and generally mix well.

We are always open and honest about the dog we send you and are always just a phone call away for advice.
