GOOSE 🩷 in Bristol UK. We are looking for a new forever home for the lovely Goose who was adopted in 2020 Approx 7 years old.

Goose was an adopted 6 years ago and has been a wonderful addition to a young family who have loved and cared for him. Unfortunately over the years his relationship with the other dog has broken down and despite a lot of effort from the family seeking guidance from behaviourists and investing time in him the relationship with the other dog has deteriorated further so the decision has been made to rehome Goose.

We want to make it clear that Goose is good with other dogs and has never shown aggression to dogs when out and about, the instances have taken place in the home only so for that reason we are only considering him to homes with no other pets .

Here is his write up from his mum:

Goose is a wonderful dog. We have had 2 children since we adopted him and he has been amazing with them, showing them nothing but love. He is incredibly affectionate and loyal. He loves nothing more than cuddling on the sofa with us. He purrs like a cat when you stroke him. Because of his loyalty we’ve found he has good recall when out on walks. He’s silly and bouncy, with more personality than I’ve ever met in a dog. He tries to sit on your knee like a human sitting on a chair. He’s a big boy, but not sure he has any comprehension of this and thinks he’s a tiny lapdog.

He has never show any aggression to humans or actually any other dogs, to our great sadness he just isn’t compatible with Lenny anymore. He would make a fantastic only dog for someone.

Goose is one of a kind, which is what is making this truly awful. I have never met a dog like him, his recall is outstanding. He loves nothing more than going out on a long walk through the woods or fields off lead. He has this incredible knack that no matter where you are walking, if he disappears into the bushes or out of sight, he will always reappear ahead.

As mentioned above, he is brilliant with kids. And shows excitement when they come home etc. he will often sit down with the kids and get strokes off them. Our kids are 2 & 4.
