Lady and Lola
Life during lockdown could have ended very differently for bonded pair Lady (speckled) and Lola (red).
Heavily pregnant Lady and sidekick (possibly daughter) Lola were reliant on scraps from local restaurants, when lockdown meant this dried up.
Thankfully, they found help in the form of an English couple stranded due to lockdown, and just in the nick of time! Lady gave birth in their camper van shortly after, and the 2 dogs and 8 pups soon took over!
All pups are now reserved, and it’s time for Lady and Lola to find their forever home, too.
Both girls were quite feral, but have responded very well to living in close contact with their fosterers. They have only just come into the rescue, so are still under review, but were both clean in the camper and have been well behaved if a little nervous on lead. Lady did manage to chew through a lead though, so double lead and/or collar-harness set up would be advised!
Both are now spayed. They are young, with Lady believed to be between 2 and 3 (as at July 2020) and Lola around a year old.
This bonded pair must be rehomed together.
