PAWS have been having a rough time lately. The recession has hit Spain too and so people are dumping more and more dogs.
SightHounds Online (SOL) are holding an auction to raise money for our dogs, opening this Friday, 19th of June! It will start at at 8 pm and end on Sunday, 28th June at 8 pm.

Welcome to Ibizan Hound Rescue and Re-Homing
Ibizan Hound Rescue is a sub-society of PAWS-PATAS, Los Gallardos, Almeria.
PAWS is a long established small, privately run charity which endeavours to help, treat, rehabilitate and re-home stray dogs from the province of Almeria in Southern Spain.
Re-Homing
Recently PAWS has found itself trying to deal with more and more Ibizan Hounds (Podenco Ibicenco) and Andalucian Hounds (Podenco Andaluz), including Podenco Lurcher cross breeds and recognised a need to broaden the homing possibilities of these wonderfully unique dogs. As a result, the Ibizan Hound Rescue website was born.
We have already homed a large number of Podencos in the UK where this breed is little known. Everybody who takes one of these dogs quickly falls in love with this special breed. Some dogs already 
have their passport for pets scheme underway and will be able to travel to the UK early next year.
